Hey everyone, and thank you for checking out my site. I’m so glad I switched from shopify to a wordpress site. First of all wordpress has been quite a bit of a learning curve but in the end I have a lot more control over customization. Shopify was very user friendly however it was very expensive. I just paid for 3 years of web-hosting for my wordpress site, which cost the equivalent of 3 months of a shopify store. I have all the bells a whistles that shopify had and a hell of a lot more. I’m able to post affiliate links. Links to anything. Post ads if I really want. It’s just a much much better platform. Now that I’ve begun to really get more familiar with wordpress, there is really no way I’d ever go back to shopify. I honestly wish I would have just sucked it up in the first place and started with a wordpress site to begin with. I would have really built an amazing site by now, and I would have saved hundreds of dollars. So for if you’re looking to build an online e-commerce store, I totally recommend using wordpress over shopify any day of the week. I you really have problems understanding wordpress, just take the time and go to YouTube and learn from videos that teach wordpress. Honestly worth the time to learn. Anyways that is my take. Woocommerce vs. Shopify Woocommerce wins hands down!
